- Assist in moving tools, equipment, and materials necessary for vehicle repairs.
- Support surveying activities by holding stakes as directed.
- Communicate safety protocols to colleagues and the public effectively.
- Provide assistance to tradespersons, apprentices, and other team members as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas to promote a safe working environment.
- This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.
- Must possess good manual dexterity and be able to bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Ability to handle heavy loads is essential, with tasks involving weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Be prepared for a substantial workload and the ability to work under pressure.
- Dependability and reliability are crucial for this role.
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility are highly valued.
- Organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success.
- No prior experience is necessary; training will be provided.
- This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week.
