About the Role:

We are seeking a professional and detail-driven individual to join our team as an RCMP Detention Guard. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while maintaining a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular prisoner well-being checks and provide meals as required
  • Monitor prisoners using CCTV cameras and conduct physical checks at cell doors
  • Prepare detailed reports on prisoner activity and condition
  • Assist police members with prisoner searches as needed
  • Deal with people in difficult situations and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Clean and prepare cells to maintain a safe and hygienic environment

Requirements:

  • Be professional and reliable with excellent communication skills
  • Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check and RCMP Enhanced Reliability security clearance through the detachment
  • Hold Emergency Level First Aid CPR/AED certification
