Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

BRIYANI BAR is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Operations and Logistics: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, establish methods to meet work schedules, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery, maintain open communication with staff and management, and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and physically demanding.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
