Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing guest flow, and communicating with servers and bartenders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exude a warm and welcoming presence to guests, both in person and over the phone
  • Confidently communicate with servers, bartenders, and managers to maintain proper guest flow
  • Escort guests to their tables, engaging them in friendly conversation
  • Accurately take reservations over the phone and in person
  • Ensure the front entrance, host stand, and surrounding areas are fully stocked and free from clutter and debris
  • Be fully versed in a short time and know all table numbers and maintain awareness of each section in the restaurant

Requirements

  • Proven prior experience in a similar position
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
  • Minimum 1 year experience in customer service, restaurant experience considered an asset
  • Full availability
