About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Cook to join our team at Jessy's Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Operations: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Team Leadership: Manage kitchen operations and lead a team of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service.

  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and high-pressure situations.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
