About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at Jessy's Pizza. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook pizzas and other menu items to order, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
  • Kitchen Operations: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards and company policies.
  • Staff Training: Train and supervise kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that all staff are aware of company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a high level of service and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, and time management skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
