- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to address any issues that may arise.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have everything we need to operate efficiently.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation to prevent the spread of illness and ensure a safe working environment.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen staff to ensure that we are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, initiative, judgement, organized, team player, and time management skills.
As a Pizza Cook at Jessy's Pizza, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to our customers. You will work collaboratively with other members of the kitchen staff to ensure that we are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
