Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and identify faults in telecommunications equipment, making necessary adjustments, replacements, or repairs.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure proper operation of telecommunications devices.
  • Analyze testing outcomes and modify, repair, or replace components of switching systems, networks, and related software.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed test and service documentation.
  • Assess the nature, cause, and location of technical issues.
  • Install electromechanical, analog, and digital trunking systems, circuits, and equipment in telecommunications facilities.
  • Manage the connection, disconnection, and relocation of cable outlets.
  • Determine and allocate work assignments effectively.
  • Repair or replace defective cables, power supplies, and amplifiers.
