Job Summary

Humber River Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing CT and Interventional Radiology procedures, operating various equipment, and preparing patients for exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and Interventional Radiology procedures according to department protocols and radiologist instructions
  • Operate and maintain various medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners and interventional systems
  • Prepare patients for exams, including obtaining consent, confirming exam validity, and practicing sterile technique
  • Review and document exam results, presenting them to radiologists for reporting
  • Adhere to radiation safety practices to protect patients, colleagues, and yourself

Requirements:

  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and good standing
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) preferred
  • CT and Interventional Radiology certification preferred
  • Previous experience in CT and Interventional Radiology preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good teamwork and customer service skills
  • IV certification required
