- Assist in the facilitation of orientation for new hires and report on accident investigations.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and maintaining the Health & Safety board.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and quality.
- Assist in the planning and execution of the employee health and safety recognition program.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
- Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards, GMP, HACCP, and other relevant regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
