About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Materials Developer to join our Raw Materials Development team at Arc'teryx Limited. As a subject matter expert, you will be responsible for developing high-performance textiles that meet our brand's exceptional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify material needs and develop innovative solutions
  • Curate material core palettes and optimize the toolbox for on-time delivery
  • Research and develop industry-leading materials with advanced performance attributes
  • Provide materials expertise and education to internal stakeholders and partners
  • Travel to global tradeshows and mill partners to build key partnerships and explore newness
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the apparel/equipment industry related to textiles and materials
  • Strong understanding of trims and textile manufacturing, including dying, finishing, printing, and molding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PLM systems
  • Ability to travel internationally and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on diplomacy and problem-solving
