Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Athletics and Recreation Manager, the Athletic Facility Support Staff plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and assistance for various programs and events held at the gymnasium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a friendly and positive customer service experience for all university students, staff, and visitors;
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of facilities and events, as well as facilitate transitions for user groups associated with university athletics and local sports organizations;
- Provide comprehensive information regarding gymnasium offerings, services, and membership options;
- Perform opening and closing tasks, ensuring the security of the facility;
- Maintain general cleanliness and conduct regular upkeep of fitness equipment;
- Undertake additional administrative and facility support tasks as required.
Qualifications Required:
A minimum of a high school diploma along with 6-30 college credits and at least 6 months of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
- Proven knowledge of sports and fitness apparatus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and community members.

- Candidates who are shortlisted will be required to present original transcripts or relevant certifications during the interview process.
