Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the VP of Partnerships & Strategic Alliances, the Director of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances will spearhead the development and management of our Partner Powered Solutions strategy. This role encompasses the entire lifecycle of partner relationships, including identification, prioritization, negotiation, go-to-market planning and execution, as well as ongoing performance management.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of independent action, as well as the ability to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness through the optimization of processes and approaches. A deep understanding of our industry, the company, and the relevant partner ecosystem is essential, along with the capability to lead a team in conducting complex financial analyses and business modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine partnership strategies, articulate partnership hypotheses, and ensure exceptional value exchange.
- Lead a team in identifying, selecting, finalizing, and operationalizing commercial agreements with new technology partners that align with the company's quality, commercial, and technical standards.
- Oversee the performance management of existing technology partnerships, focusing on annual bookings, revenue, gross margin targets, and other relevant KPIs.
- Collaborate across functions, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless integration of partner solutions into PointClickCare's product and commercial strategies.
- Ensure that the implementation and support of these solutions meet or exceed customer expectations, with appropriate partner participation as negotiated.
- Direct the go-to-market strategy for partner-powered solutions under the company's brand, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of partner technologies into core platforms.
- Monitor market trends and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Mathematics; an MBA is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, vetting, and managing technology partnerships, business development, or a related field.
- A strategic thinker with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to model market and partnership opportunities, capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to influence at the executive level.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
Compensation:
The base salary for this position ranges from $144,000 to $160,000, complemented by bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits. Salary determinations are based on job-related skills, knowledge, relevant experience, and work location.
