Work Environment

The position involves working at various locations, requiring a willingness to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies and research on the design and performance of mechanical systems.
  • Design and develop power plants, machinery, and equipment.
  • Supervise the installation and inspection of mechanical systems.
  • Create and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.
  • Investigate mechanical failures and address unexpected maintenance challenges.
  • Plan and manage projects, including preparing material, cost, and timing estimates.
  • Prepare contract documents and assess tenders for construction or maintenance projects.
  • Commission systems and components to ensure operational readiness.
Supervisory Role

This position does not involve supervisory responsibilities.

Technical Expertise
  • Systems: Experience with turbines is essential.
  • Equipment: Proficiency in working with pumps is required.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding tasks requiring attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and sound discrimination is necessary.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with extended periods of standing.
