Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Lead to oversee the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems. This is a permanent position that requires a strong educational background and relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough investigations into the feasibility, design, and performance of mechanical components and systems.
  • Design and Engineering: Create innovative designs for power plants, machinery, and equipment.
  • Installation Oversight: Supervise and evaluate the installation processes of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to enhance system reliability.
  • Problem Solving: Investigate mechanical failures and unexpected maintenance challenges to provide effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage engineering projects, including preparing material, cost, and timing estimates, as well as detailed reports and design specifications.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contract documents and assess tenders for industrial construction or maintenance projects.
  • System Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of systems and components to ensure operational readiness.
Work Environment

This role involves working in various locations and may require travel. The work environment is fast-paced and can be physically demanding, requiring the ability to manage tight deadlines and large workloads.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or a related area.
