About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Steel Stud Framer to join our team at Marvel Drywall & Framing Ltd. As a Steel Stud Framer, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout Preparation: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
  • Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Site Coordination: Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
  • Estimation: Estimate costs and materials.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and dusty work site environment.
  • Work Setting: Construction, various locations, renovation, commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Level of Expertise: Maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
