About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at KABAL SINGH HUNDAL, PARMINDER SINGH HUNDAL, ET AL. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and harvesting laborers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Farm Operations: Ensure the efficient and effective management of farm activities, including crop production, harvesting, and maintenance.
  • Maintain Safety and Bio-Security Protocols: Implement and enforce strict safety and bio-security procedures to protect our employees, crops, and equipment.
  • Monitor Quality Control and Production Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of crop yields, quality, and production processes to inform future decision-making.
  • Supervise and Oversee Crop-Related Operations: Coordinate and direct the activities of our farm workers and harvesting laborers to ensure optimal crop production and quality.
  • Perform General Farm Duties: Participate in various farm-related tasks, including equipment maintenance, repairs, and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as agriculture, horticulture, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role in agriculture or a related field.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in a rural area, with regular exposure to the elements.
  • Work Setting: Our farm is located in a rural area, with a focus on crop production and harvesting.
  • Tasks: The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including supervising and coordinating farm operations, maintaining safety and bio-security protocols, and monitoring quality control and production records.
  • Supervision: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and overseeing the activities of 5-10 people.
  • Type of Crops: Our farm specializes in the production of blueberries.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Hours: The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.
