Clinical Psychologist III

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Psychologist III to join our team at the Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our mental health and addiction services, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments to individuals with Tier-3 Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders.

About You- You have a Master's degree in Psychology and are registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (NSBEP).
- You have a minimum of two years' clinical experience working in the field of Mental Health & Addictions.
- You have demonstrated knowledge of time-limited evidence-based psychological assessments and treatments for Mental Disorders and Substance Use Disorders, and a commitment to same.
- You have demonstrated knowledge of Stepped Care principles and clinical care pathways, and a commitment to same.
- You have demonstrated accountability and attention to detail, as well as the ability to synthesize information, problem solve, and utilize good judgment in decision making.
- You are committed to promoting a culture that supports safety, ethical practices, and organizational health.
- This is a temporary full-time position, 75 hours bi-weekly.
- The position is approximately 12 months in duration, with dates subject to change.
The successful candidate will be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
