Bus Driver Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport elementary school students and daycare children to and from school. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 Driver's License, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a 52-passenger bus for elementary school students and a 25-passenger bus for daycare children
  • Ensure the buses are in safe operating condition and perform regular maintenance
  • Develop and implement a new schedule yearly based on enrollment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the safety and well-being of students
  • Collaborate with the Administrator and Principal to ensure smooth bus operations
  • Attend regular staff meetings and participate in required training
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 Driver's License
  • Clean driving record
  • First Aid certification
  • Two reference letters
  • Medical clearance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
