About the Job

First Student Canada-Transco is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team in Vancouver. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while also maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive a school bus safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations
  • Ensure the bus is clean and organized, with all necessary equipment and supplies on board
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, as needed
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 or Class 4 driver's license
  • At least 21 years old
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background check
