Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Food Fight BBQ. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Administrative: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
