Your Role

Key Responsibilities

  • The Sanitation Specialist is tasked with cleaning and sanitizing all equipment on the assembly line post-production to uphold food safety and compliance standards.
  • The chosen candidates will be responsible for disassembling parts from machinery (mixers, depositors, fillers, etc.), transporting them to the designated cleaning area, and utilizing our industrial dishwashing equipment for thorough cleaning.
  • Maintain organization of all tools within the sanitation department's storage area, adhering strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) applicable in a food processing environment.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor to ensure proper operation throughout each shift.
  • Perform limited non-sanitation tasks as needed to maintain operational efficiency and ensure adherence to food safety protocols (such as moving trays, properly storing food items, and assisting on the production line during emergencies).

Qualifications

  • Compensation: $21.32/hour
  • Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 12 PM - 8 PM. Previous experience in sanitation within food manufacturing, warehousing, or fast-paced environments is preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable working with cleaning agents and chemicals in a temperature-controlled setting.
  • Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
