We are seeking a highly motivated Dishwasher and Sanitation Specialist to join our team at CAFE MED RESTAURANT & SHISHA LOUNGE LTD. O/A CAFE MED.

Estimated Salary: $25-$35 per hour

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and will be an essential part of our kitchen team.

About the Job:

The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure that all dishes, glassware, and flatware are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. This includes operating dishwashers, washing and sanitizing items by hand, scouring pots and pans, and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and its equipment.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong physical abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will also be required to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • Scour pots and pans
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
  • Handle and store cleaning products
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Work Environment:

The selected candidate will be working in a dynamic environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Public transportation is available, and the work environment is physically demanding.
