About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital E-commerce Strategist to join our team at Reitmans (Canada) Limited. As a key member of our marketing and e-commerce team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital marketing strategy that drives business growth and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and E-commerce to determine quantitative and qualitative objectives for our website and develop a desired user experience.
- Develop annual and long-term plans, sales, profitability, and gross margin targets based on e-commerce metrics and marketing objectives.
- Work with our media agency and internal media team to define measurement frameworks and digital metrics to optimize online marketing spend.
- Develop, coach, and manage online subject matter experts.
- Regularly review results, provide recommendations for future improvements, and identify opportunities to leverage past successes and re-use technology.
- Oversee the development, management, and optimization of our organic search practice.
Requirements:
- University degree in a field related to this position, such as marketing, business, or e-commerce.
- Bilingual French and English.
- Minimum 8 years of e-commerce, digital, or online marketing experience.
- Understanding of audience building strategies.
- Superior analytic skills, using performance data to optimize current campaigns and identify new opportunities.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and oversee multiple projects at once.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of high-performing individuals.
