Mainline Construction (2014) Ltd. Grading Foreman Job Description

As a Grading Foreman with Mainline Construction (2014) Ltd., you will play a crucial role in supporting our Mainline Construction Operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising a crew and equipment to complete civil or residential, or oilfield grading projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily field safety and environmental inspections as required.
  • Maintain records and reporting.
  • Ensure good employee relations and training requirements are achieved.
  • Optimize resources through proper planning and coordination of work.
  • Review, complete, and correct all required documentation, including daily timesheets, tailgate meetings, and incident reporting.

Leadership and Performance Management:

  • Encourage a high quality of service and lead by example.
  • Understand and apply company performance standards (QA/QC) requirements for all maintenance activities.
  • Hold team members accountable for their results through ongoing performance management.
  • Provide immediate verbal or written feedback, recognition of work well done, opportunities for development, and cross-training.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of civil or oilfield grading experience.
  • Valid Class 5 AB driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Proficiency in computer skills is considered an asset.
