Restaurant Manager Job Description

MB PAM INC. is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dining establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and be able to lead a team of 5-10 people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews to assess team members' progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and optimize costs associated with products and services to maintain profitability.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best possible deals.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Event Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including managing events and catering services.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent work term.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
