Position Overview

As a Personal Care Provider, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. Your compassionate nature and dedication will ensure that clients receive the best possible care in a comfortable environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients in maintaining regular exercise routines, such as walking.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a tidy living space.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
Certifications
  • CPR Certificate is required.
  • First Aid Certificate is required.
Safety and Security
  • A criminal record check is mandatory for this position.
Support for Diverse Communities
  • Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Facilitate diversity and cross-cultural training to foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Provide mentorship and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
