We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Specialist - Cloud to join our team at ProViso Staffing. Key Responsibilities- Provide guidance on secure and cost-effective implementation of our security policies and standards.
- Assist in the classification and protection of data resources.
- Design, develop, and implement sound risk management controls in accordance with our standards.
- Keep informed and well-versed on financial industry regulations in different regions.
- Pursue security and control process improvements to advance security compliance and improve internal processes.
- 10+ years of working experience as an IT Security Analyst / Security Advisor.
- 5+ years of recent hands-on experience with cloud security controls and experience in deployments and cloud architecture security (GCP and Azure preferred).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with security controls/mechanisms and threat/risk assessment techniques in complex data, application, and networking environments.
- 5+ years of combined experience with security technologies such as Identity & Access Management, PKI, Intrusion Prevention, and vulnerability assessments.
- 5+ years of experience with regulatory guidelines related to the financial industry like OSFI.
- Experience with/knowledge of financial services' Security Governance Framework (policies and standards) is a strong asset.
- Experience with Agile, Lean, Rapid Labs, and other accelerated project frameworks would be an asset.
- Security Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, CISA, CISM, etc.
- Experience in Canadian banking is an asset.
- Must have advanced verbal and written communication skills in English, especially report writing ability.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines for multiple assignments and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Candidates will undergo a 2-round interview process, including a 30-minute MS Teams interview with the hiring manager and a 30-minute MS Teams interview with the Global head.
