Job Summary

As a Store Manager at Lids, you will be the heart and soul of our brand, responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and creating a fun and inclusive environment for your team. You will be accountable for every aspect of the retail store performance, including achieving key results, creating a positive team culture, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • People & Training Development
    • Manage the store's hiring strategy, including planning needs, recruitment, and employee development.
    • Assist in coordinating onboarding and training programs to acclimate new team members.
    • Engage team members by creating a positive and productive work environment.
    • Contribute to a respectful and inclusive team culture by establishing supportive working relationships and adhering to company standards.
  • Customer Experience
    • Lead and execute sales strategies to achieve key performance indicators and deliver exceptional customer service.
    • Resolve customer feedback and address issues in a timely manner.
    • Manage and direct in-store team members to ensure optimal customer service.
  • Operations
    • Manage team compliance with scheduling and payroll processes.
    • Plan and manage the schedule to maintain efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage business disruptions and provide operational continuity.
    • Execute company-level directives, promotions, and initiatives.
Requirements
  • A two-year post-secondary education and one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for up to 100% of work time.
