Marketing Lead, BC Region

As a key member of the Dilawri Group of Companies - BC Region team, the Marketing Lead, BC Region, will play a pivotal role in driving marketing initiatives that support customer retention and lead generation for designated brands/dealerships. Reporting directly to the Director, Retail Marketing, this role requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute effective yearly marketing plans, monthly tactical campaigns, and experiential initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop the BC marketing team in cooperation with National Marketing.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for designated dealerships/brands, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute yearly marketing plans for each dealership, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the digital agency to manage digital advertising, online business profiles, and SEO programs, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
  • Manage monthly advertising-performance reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Experiential Lead to manage experiential initiatives for dealerships, creating engaging and memorable experiences.
  • Oversee social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging across platforms.
  • Perform monthly dealership audits, evaluating in-store experience and website effectiveness.
  • Maintain clear lines of communication with National Marketing, keeping them informed about store-level activations, new partnerships, and donations.
  • Follow established company policies and procedures, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in meetings and training, as required, to stay updated on industry trends and company initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, PR, or related subject(s).
  • Keen understanding of marketing best practices, with a focus on customer retention and lead generation.
  • Experience writing copy for a wide range of purposes, including digital advertising and social media content.
  • Experience creating, publishing, and delivering content for targeted audiences, including through online platforms and email campaigns.
  • Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, and digital marketing tools.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize projects effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible team player, multitasker, and creative problem-solver.
  • Three (3) years of marketing, PR, or related experience, with a focus on automotive/dealership retail.
  • Valid/Full Class 5 driver's license.
