Job Title: Personal Support Worker

Caringpeople healthcare Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, including walking and transferring
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, including engaging in activities and conversations
  • Assist clients with household tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide care and support to clients with varying needs and abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
  • Knowledge of personal care and support principles and practices
  • Ability to speak multiple languages
