Maximo Application Specialist

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Maximo Application Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of our Maintenance Management System (MMS) and providing technical guidance to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage and prioritize the Business Information Solutions demand in collaboration with Core functions and Business partners.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise in troubleshooting problems reported by end-users.
- Process Improvement: Lead the creation of functional designs to improve or develop standard IT (Building Blocks) and services.
- Requirements Gathering: Translate needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring completeness of system requirements in alignment with Bombardier strategy.
- Standardization and Innovation: Promote standardization, integration, and foster innovation in our IT solutions.
- Business Acumen: Develop end-to-end understanding of business processes, vision, and best practices.
- Solution Development: Support the development, validation, and evaluation of BIS Solutions against requirements.
- Market Trends: Understand market trends and solutions, assess existing solutions against them, and influence the roadmap.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations for assigned areas and monitor sustaining activities, projects, and levels of customer service.
- Professional Experience: Typically, 5 or more years of professional IT experience in one of the IT functional areas, including previous IT project management experience.
- Leadership Experience: Typically, 2 years of experience as a working lead and/or supervisor.
- Maximo Expertise: Experience with Maximo solution as a subject matter expert or senior developer.
- MMS Implementation: A proven track record in the successful implementation of Maintenance Management System (MMS).
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field, or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
- Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Technical Skills: Ability to express technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Planning and Organization: Proficient planning and organizational skills necessary to prioritize, assign, and coordinate workload of team members within a multiple project setting.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in teams.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
