Senior Learning Analyst, Global Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Learning Analyst, Global Compliance to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Global Compliance & AML Learning Team, you will play a critical role in supporting the design and delivery of learning programs that align with our team's strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Learning Program Development: Collaborate with our Director and Senior Managers to maintain and improve our Global Compliance and AML learning program by developing learning content across various tools and formats to ensure effectiveness and a strong learner experience.
- Program Coordination: Coordinate online, hybrid, and in-person learning programs across the Three Lines of Defense, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality delivery.
- Needs Assessment and Planning: Assist with the Global Compliance and AML Learning Needs Assessment Process and create our Annual Learning Plan, aligning with our team's objectives.
- Project Management: Provide project management support on the development of new learning programs, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Reporting and Evaluation: Track, analyze, and report on learning program completion, evaluating the effectiveness and impact of our learning programs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to learning standards and follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
- Employee Support: Respond to employee queries regarding learning programs and skill development, providing timely and accurate support.
- Industry Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with global best practices in Compliance Learning and apply them to strengthen the delivery of our learning program.
- Training Delivery: Deliver instructor-led training on compliance and AML topics and skill development in-person, hybrid, and online.
- Education: Post-Secondary education
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in a learning or training role
- Technical Skills: Experience using learning software such as Articulate 360, Rise, Storyboard or similar, and a Learning Management System
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organizational Skills: Experience managing several ongoing assignments and competing priorities, with a results-driven focus and strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork: Ability to operate in a high-performing, flexible, and small team environment
- Financial Services Experience: Experience in financial services is an asset
- Scotiabank Knowledge: Knowledgeable about Scotiabank's organizational structure, risk management, operational procedures, and business activities is an asset
- Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is an asset
