We seek enthusiastic, visionary, and hands-on leaders for Pure's rapidly expanding and innovative team - the Analytics & AI Field Solutions Architects. These architects are highly driven technical sales professionals dedicated to providing guidance, enablement, and support for all aspects of Analytics & AI, focusing on opportunities and partnerships within a sales region. This role requires a deep understanding of clients' overall business, the ability to articulate the value of a Pure solution, and expertise in how Pure integrates into various high-performance data workflows.

This individual will also ensure that Pure account teams effectively identify and position Analytics & AI opportunities in their sales territories while providing enablement to our channel partner community. The role necessitates collaboration across various functions including Solutions, Marketing, Alliances, Engineering, and Sales to align initiatives and market strategies while maintaining technical proficiency in all emerging solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE...

  • Developing field-oriented solutions content (Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives, Demos, Qualification Guides, etc.) focused on Analytics & AI.
  • Enhancing solution area and other enablement projects to better prepare the field for initial stages of Analytics & AI opportunities.
  • Delivering presentations at webinars/events, including both internal and external content with Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, and Vendors.
  • Engaging in customer-facing interactions, demos, POCs, EBCs, and other solution-focused activities.
  • Keeping updated on advancements in our product offerings (FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx) and formalizing an enablement strategy based on these updates.
  • Contributing to the Solutions Roadmap and engaging in daily discussions with Solutions Architects and Product Management regarding field impact and feedback.
  • Maintaining daily availability for enablement through communication platforms, influencing customer opportunities.
  • Overseeing field testing to document insights about applications and platforms, bridging gaps in solution testing.
  • Providing post-sales support and troubleshooting with expert-level knowledge of solutions.
  • Collaborating with Sales Leaders for reciprocal feedback and communication.
  • Inspiring and motivating the field to achieve greater success and encouraging customers to adopt Pure Storage technology.
  • Engaging cross-functionally with other go-to-market and corporate teams.
  • Building connections and aligning team members within the direct team and across Pure Storage.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED...

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field / equivalent experience.
  • Over 10 years of Pre-sales experience in IT.
  • Strong technical knowledge in the Analytics & AI domain with a keen interest and vision for the industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, etc.) that supports high-performance environments.
  • Proven ability to lead with a strong reputation as a respected technical evangelist with demonstrated expertise in key technologies.
  • Exceptional sales acumen with Analytics & AI product solutions and a solid grasp of Pure Storage's competitive landscape.
  • Able to convey customer strategies and Pure Storage solutions at a technical level.
  • Capable of simplifying complex concepts for account teams and partners regarding Pure's Analytics & AI solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in G-Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience with complex engineering designs.
  • Knowledge of the Analytics & AI ecosystem and its integration within Pure for optimal customer outcomes, including various applications/technologies in data pipelines.
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territories and other locations as necessary.
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and follow-through capabilities.
  • Publications and a presence on social media are advantageous.
