  • Monitors compliance with legislative and contractual obligations of service providers, implementing risk management strategies to ensure financial accountability and operational effectiveness.
  • Formulates and executes corrective action plans for service providers not meeting their obligations.
  • Engages with applicants, tenants, and stakeholders in a constructive manner, demonstrating diplomacy and effectively managing conflicts.
  • Facilitates community capacity building by advising service providers on program administration, financial governance, and property management.
  • Collaborates with auditors, engineers, and legal representatives to address service delivery and compliance challenges.
  • Develops and proposes policy options, management practices, and performance measures to enhance program delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive project management experience with a proven ability to navigate complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a high capacity for negotiation and influence.
  • Significant experience in administering housing programs, benefits, and grants within a legislative framework.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, conduct performance evaluations, and handle labor relations.
  • Experience in analyzing financial and non-financial data to assess program outcomes against established metrics.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and prepare effective presentations.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on conflict resolution and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in using electronic spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.
