About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Mirch Masala & Indian Sweet Cuisine Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create new and innovative menu items that showcase our Indian cuisine and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to optimize our purchasing and reduce waste.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Event Catering: Plan and execute catering services for special events and functions, including banquets and corporate events.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a senior chef role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, initiative, organized, reliability, and team player.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
