Medical Director, Quality Improvement

Fraser Health is a leading healthcare provider in Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, serving over two million people in 20 diverse communities. Our hospital and community-based services are delivered by a team of 48,000+ staff, medical staff, and volunteers dedicated to serving our patients, families, and communities.
We are seeking a Quality Physician Medical Leader to provide leadership and direction to physicians and other healthcare providers on quality and patient safety initiatives. This role will work closely with fellow physician leaders and other clinical staff to promote physician engagement and capacity building in quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide local site leadership to physicians and other healthcare providers on quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Work in collaboration with the clinical quality and patient safety department, senior leadership, department leaders, regional leaders, and support systems to establish patient care models that are evidence-based and increase the safety of patients, clinicians, and other staff.
- Identify quality improvement learning needs and participate in educational activities aimed at developing physician skills in clinical quality and patient safety.
