National Surgical Quality Improvement Program Leader

Fraser Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Leader to join our team as a National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) Surgeon Champion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to physicians and other healthcare providers on surgical quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and staff to identify evidence-based strategies to ensure best practice at the site.
- Partner with the NSQIP Regional Team to discuss opportunities for quality improvement, review NSQIP data and reports, and attend regular meetings and conferences.
- Develop and support at least one quality improvement project per year, in partnership with the NSQIP Regional Team.
- Advocate for NSQIP and provide updates/reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Complete quality improvement training and education requirements.
