Fleet Coordinator Job Description

TrevEx Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in our fleet operations.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement measures to improve work methods and increase productivity.
  • Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 people and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure that team members have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Dispatch and Scheduling: Dispatch bus drivers and monitor routes to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work environment is safe and healthy.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions and ensure that all personnel matters are handled in a fair and timely manner.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain: Co-ordinate repairs and rentals, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the trucking industry.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own vehicle.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure and have the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent team player with a strong work ethic.

Work Environment: 37.5 hours per week, permanent position.

Language: English.
