Job Title: Fleet Manager

Job Summary:

Voyago is seeking a highly skilled Fleet Manager to oversee the company's fleet of vehicles and assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and procurement of vehicles, as well as managing a team of licensed mechanics and administrative staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement: Source, purchase, and dispose of vehicles as required, assess divisional vehicles for replacement, negotiate parts/fluids/tools/services with vendors & manufacturers, perform vendor visits/reviews
  • Maintenance: Ensure maintenance of Company vehicles in accordance with established standards and policies, review of all maintenance schedules on an annual basis, obtain estimates; issue work order, purchase order or insurance work order, coordinate all shop maintenance outsourcing and outside garage work, coordinate vehicle repairs; liaise with insurance, obtain vehicle/component warranties, responsible for overseeing Fleet Services' garage locations and physical facilities
  • Financial: Collect, analyze, and present key performance indicators related to fleet services to management and operations, inventory management, responsible for Fleet Services' cost centre budgets and actual results
  • Leadership: Accountable for a team of licensed mechanics and administrative support staff

Requirements:

  • University or College education or equivalent
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role
  • 310S or 310T license
  • Experience working in a management capacity
  • Computer literate in MS Office
  • Enhanced analytical skills for evaluating shop operation processes
  • Familiar with the Health & Safety Act and National Safety Code
  • Advanced knowledge of purchasing policies
  • Ability to multitask with ease and proficiency
  • Clean Criminal record
  • Minimum full G Ontario Drivers License, with a clean drivers abstract
  • Experience in transportation an asset
