Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review month-end journal entries and reconciliations, and prepare monthly reporting for stakeholders.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including treasury functions, review of invoice and payment batches.
  • Lead the interim and year-end financial audit activities.
  • Assist with external consolidated annual financial statements.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.
Requirements
  • CPA designation required; public accounting firm experience preferred.
  • 5+ years post-designation experience.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Excel, SQL, Power BI, and experience/use of other business intelligence tools considered an asset.
  • Dynamic hands-on, roll up your sleeves attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well across departments.
  • Strong attention to detail.
