Your Role

As the IT Support Team Leader, you will oversee and coordinate the technical support team in Quebec, reporting directly to the Technical Support Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional support to our facilities, ensuring that all technical challenges are addressed promptly and effectively. You will act as the main liaison for IT responsibilities across the Quebec locations and will prioritize tasks accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize IT operations by scheduling tasks, establishing priorities, and guiding the work of the Quebec technical team (2 members);
  • Assess and enhance team performance while providing ongoing feedback;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and service quality enhancements;
  • Act as the primary contact for escalated issues;
  • Contribute to the deployment of new technologies and support systems;
  • Install and maintain all computer hardware and software;
  • Manage the inventory of computer assets assigned to users;
  • Ensure appropriate follow-ups on ongoing projects;
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and other support personnel (both internal and external);
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure systems meet performance and security standards;
  • Work with vendors to obtain quotes for hardware and software;
  • Create operational documentation and procedures for users and technicians.
Your Qualifications
  • At least 10 years of experience in IT support, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role;
  • Strong proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, iOS, Android);
  • Solid understanding of network services (DNS, DHCP, HTTP, VPN);
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills;
  • Strong analytical capabilities and project management experience;
  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken;
  • Willingness to travel to our facilities in Quebec (2 to 3 days per week).
