Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 14214757 Canada Inc. as a key member of our food service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is documented and used to improve service delivery.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that food is delivered to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Establish work schedules to ensure that staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as required.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    Requirements
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
    • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
    • Language of work: English.
