Main Responsibilities

As a key member of the Summa Metal team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate metal fabrication.
  • Performing welding, assembly, and metalworking tasks to meet quality and safety standards.

Required Skills and Experience

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong reading comprehension skills, including the ability to interpret technical documents.
  • Knowledge of trigonometry and geometry to ensure accurate metal fabrication.
  • Expertise in drafting stairs and railings.
  • Experience in fabricating complex architectural metal components.
  • Proficiency in welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Experience in polishing architectural stainless steel.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in English and French (spoken and written). Spanish is an asset.
