Job Title: Welder-Assembler

Lainco inc. is seeking a skilled Welder-Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components to meet the highest quality standards.

Work Environment

Our work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will be working in a commercial and industrial setting, with a variety of tasks to complete on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal components.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal components using various welding techniques, including gas metal arc welding (GMAW) and flux core arc welding (FCAW).
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal components into place.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding and assembly, or equivalent experience.
