About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our team at Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and operating services that enable high-quality talent acquisition for Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, flexible, low-latency, and high-throughput software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, deploy, and operate solutions.
  • Develop and mentor junior and new team members.
  • Lead engineering excellence initiatives for the org.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
