We are looking for a Market Research Specialist to join our Toronto office, where you will spearhead the analytics and intelligence initiatives related to the commercial real estate market at a local level. This role involves overseeing the collection, assessment, and interpretation of diverse economic and commercial real estate data sources, transforming this synthesized information into a range of reports, analyses, and presentations. The position will report directly to the Regional Manager in the Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to evaluate the economic landscape and identify commercial real estate opportunities and trends.
  • Prepare reports on market dynamics and behaviors, providing investors and agents with valuable insights into market performance.
  • Create analyses and reports to enhance client comprehension of market trends and investment prospects.
  • Contribute directly to real estate proposals exceeding $10,000,000.
  • Support special business development initiatives aimed at fostering broker and client growth.
  • Offer financial insights on potential property transactions.
  • Convert data and information into polished, professional reports and analyses that deliver insightful interpretations for both investors and sales agents.
  • Gather market comparables to assist in the development of proposals and pitch presentations.
  • Supply localized information and data for social media content aimed at agents and broader audiences.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, or Business is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional analysis experience in commercial real estate or business writing.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate analytics.
  • Excellent time management and project management abilities, capable of leading multiple complex projects.
  • Strong research and writing skills, adhering to AP Style.
  • Proficient in relevant software platforms, particularly the Microsoft Office suite, with exceptional Excel capabilities and familiarity with various commercial real estate databases and analytics tools.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering projects accurately and on schedule.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team setting.
