HVAC Technician Specialist - CP Services
Work Environment: Camp based
Work Schedule: 14 days on, 14 days off
Key Responsibilities- Identify and troubleshoot issues within heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Communicate with management regarding the progress and procedures of work orders.
- Evaluate HVAC systems and their components (such as heating units and ventilation systems) to assess their condition, recommend repairs, and suggest preventive maintenance measures.
- Install heating and air conditioning units along with ventilation systems.
- Ensure service vehicle, tools, and equipment are maintained in optimal condition.
- Engage in meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
- Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on commercial rooftop heating and cooling systems.
- Document work activities, including repair statuses and activity logs, as necessary.
- Repair components of heating and air conditioning systems (including pumps, motors, and piping).
- Transport necessary tools and equipment to job sites to ensure all materials are available.
- Interpret shop drawings and control schematics accurately.
- Oversee the start-up and commissioning of building automation systems.
- Provide training to clients on the operation and use of building automation systems.
- Valid Air Conditioning & Refrigeration License
- Gas Fitter License
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
- H2S Alive Certification
- Confined Space Monitor Certification
- Fall Arrest Training
- A&D Clearance
- WHMIS 2015 Certification
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Experience with SAP is an asset.
