Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are consistently delivered.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food meets quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and training.
- Inventory and Supplies: Estimate and manage inventory and supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and orders are placed as needed.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customer needs are met.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, sales, and inventory, maintaining accurate records and providing data for decision-making.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity is essential.
