Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients, including bookkeeping, tax preparation, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and complete financial statements, tax returns, and working papers for clients.
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including ROEs, T4s, T4As, T5s, and T5013s.
  • Remit source deductions, WSIB, EHT, and Sales Tax.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in business administration, preferably with a specialization in accounting.
  • In pursuit of CPA designation considered an asset.
  • 2-4 years experience in bookkeeping and tax return preparation, preferably in public accounting.
  • Advanced computer skills in QuickBooks, Profile, CaseWare, Excel, and Outlook.
